What is the Related Country Field in Software Entries About

The related country field in software entries is inherited by the people who are on its contact list, although users can explicitly add more countries. It is intended to help pinpoint where expertise and/or contact points for the software might be found. Please note that it is not in any way related with countries under whose grid sites the software is available at; this kind of information is not available through the AppDB yet, but might be featured in later versions.
