What is the Primary Category

The primary category is the one that characterizes best the software solution entry. A single entry could be associated with more than one categories but only one of them may be set as the primary one.

Please note that the primary category is the category of choice, in cases where the system needs to display/handle only one category, such as new feeds, email notifications, and other dissemination related activities.

NOTE: The primary category does not restrict the definition of the software solution in any other way and it can be changed at anytime.
