When Should I Reuse an Image?

You may choose to reuse an image that you have publish in the past, in one the following two cases

1. reuse it ‘as is’ in the new Virtual Appliance version (use-case: republishing an image)
2. use it as a starting point/template for describing an image update (use-case: image update)
